The law of 27 June 1919 prohibits the sales of concert tickets at a higher price than their selling price and penalizes "any person convinced of having sold or given, or having attempted to sell or give, at a price exceeding the one set in theaters and concerts that are subsidized or favored in any manner by the State, departments, or communes, tickets taken from the lease or sales desk of said theaters or concerts".
Many of you write to us and inform us about the sales of concert tickets on the Internet at very high prices. The "Restos du Cœur" are aware of this recurrent problem against which we have been fighting for years.
We would like to remind you that it is illegal to resell concert tickets beyond their nominal values, and that these concerts are organized to help the "Restos du Cœur" to conclude their actions. Moreover, the TV broadcasting as well as the sale of CD and DVD account for 20% of their budget.
